Coroner released name of woman who died in Saturday collision

The woman who died in a motorcycle accident early Saturday morning has been identified.
Janelle Deandra James, 26, was on a motorcycle that ran off Buffalo Drive around 2 a.m. and hit a traffic sign near Summerlin Parkway.
According to the Clark County coroner’s office, James died of blunt force injuries to the head.
A male was also on the motorcycle at the time of the crash.
NHP initially responded to the call where James was pronounced dead on scene and the male passenger was in critical condition.
The male passenger was taken to the hospital. As of Saturday, he was still listed in critical condition at University Medical Center.
