Coroner ID’s motorcyclist who crashed on I-15

The Clark County coroner has identified a 22-year-old man who Highway Patrol officers say died after trying to pull a wheelie on a motorcycle while driving more than 100 mph on Interstate 15.

Officials said Jerry Creekmore of Las Vegas was pronounced dead at University Medical Center from multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

Witnesses said Creekmore lost control of the motorcycle and hit a guardrail about 8:40 p.m. Thursday on I-15 near the Flamingo Road onramp, just south of the Strip.
