Coroner IDs motorcyclist killed in Monday crash

The Clark County coroner’s office on Tuesday identified the motorcyclist who died Monday evening at the Desert Inn Road and Berwyck Street intersection, near Pecos Road.
Officers were called to the accident just before 5 p.m., Las Vegas police said.
Christopher Salvi, 44, from Las Vegas, was speeding eastbound on Desert Inn in a 2007 Honda 919 when a 1999 Isuzu Trooper driven by a 69-year-old man turned onto Pecos in front of Salvi, Las Vegas police said.
Salvi slid several hundred feet after the crash, police said.
The driver of the Trooper’s stayed at the scene as the accident was being investigated.
