Coroner identifies man who died in Thursday night accident

An 80-year-old man who died after running a red light Thursday night has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Royce B. Clark’s 1997 Buick collided with a pickup at Oakey Boulevard and Arville Street around 9:30 p.m., according to Las Vegas police.

The Las Vegas resident was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner said his cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries and the manner accidental.

The driver of the other vehicle was transported to University Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
