Coroner identifies apparent Lake Mead drowning victim

A 19-year-old Las Vegas man who was presumed drowned in Lake Mead on Sunday was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office Monday.

Spencer Gaston went missing while swimming in Echo Bay about 12:30 p.m.

His body was discovered about four hours later by Las Vegas police divers.

Cause of death was not released.
