Boy, 4, struck by vehicle in northeast valley

A boy was hospitalized with non-critical injuries after being hit by a car in the northeast valley Friday afternoon, Las Vegas police said.

The 4-year-old was hit by a vehicle traveling at a “low speed” in the 4700 block of Pinon Pointe Road, near East Craig Road and Las Vegas Boulevard North, at 5:20 p.m., Lt. Yaz Yatomi said.

The boy was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with non-critical injuries and the driver remained on the scene, Yatomi said.
