Body found in drainage ditch in Henderson

Henderson police are investigating a body found Sunday in a drainage ditch near Boulder Highway and Galleria Drive, a city spokesman said.

Officers were called about 3 p.m. to a drainage ditch on Wiesner Way, Henderson spokesman Keith Paul said.

Police are on the scene and initial reports suggest that the death does not appear to be suspicious. That status may change later into the investigation, Paul said.
