Blaze damages home in Henderson

A Saturday morning fire caused $100,000 worth of damage to a home, according to the Henderson Fire Department.
Firefighters were alerted to the blaze at 10:44 a.m. at the home at 134 Monteen Drive, near Pecos Road and Wigwam Parkway.
The blaze began in the garage of the two-story home. It was extinguished within five minutes.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. However, the family is able to still occupy the home, according to the fire department.
