Bicyclist injured after being struck by car

A teenager riding a bicycle was hospitalized with serious injuries after colliding with a vehicle Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 5:45 a.m., closing a northbound lane of Decatur Boulevard and a westbound lane of Washington Avenue.

The teen’s injuries were nonlife-threatening. The driver of the car was unharmed and will not be cited at this time, Las Vegas police said.

The lanes have been reopened.
