Accident cleared on southbound Interstate 15
An accident on Interstate 15 south of Cheyenne Avenue that tied up southbound traffic early Friday morning has been cleared and traffic is flowing smoothly.
According to Nevada Highway Patrol, one person was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries due to the collision.
Civic Center Drive, which would have been a close detour for the those looking to avoid the I-15 traffic, was shut down due to a separate rollover accident at Las Vegas Boulevard.
