2 seriously hurt in collision with dump truck

Two men were transported to the hospital with serious injuries after a south valley crash Monday morning.

The collision between a dump truck and Honda sedan occurred about 9:40 a.m. near the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Cactus Avenue, according to Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Chelsea Stuenkel.

Two occupants of the sedan were transported to University Medical Center. The dump truck driver is uninjured.
