The National Park Service provides visitors with a fenced-in high viewing platform to see the home of a fish on the perpetual brink of extinction, the Devils Hole pupfish. The critically endangered pupfish’s only home on Earth is a water-filled cavern accessible for viewing via an Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge road.
