MUSIC
Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8601 Del Webb Blvd., will present a family concert and gospel sing featuring Larry Morbitt of "Phantom — The Las Vegas Spectacular" and Tim Harvey at 3 p.m. Sunday . Admission is free, but a freewill offering will be accepted (341-7800).
SERVICES
The Center for Spiritual Living, 1420 E. Harmon Ave., will have a Celebration of Peace with the Rev. Cyndi DeLong 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday . The service will feature music, inspirational readings and meditation (739-8200).
Valley Outreach Synagogue-P’nai Tikvah will offer free High Holy Days services. September activities include a Slichot service the evening of Sept. 24 at 2045 Grouse St. Rosh Hashana services will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 28 and 10 a.m. Sept. 29 at Texas Station, 2101 Texas Star Lane, North Las Vegas. Tashlich and picnic are planned for Sept. 30 at Sunset Park, 2601 E. Sunset Road. Reservations are required for each of the services by calling 436-4900.
St. George’s Anglican Church, 7676 W. Gilmore Ave., will offer blessing of the animals in celebration of the feast of St. Francis of Assisi at 4 p.m. Oct. 1 on the church patio (395-4576).
EVENTS
The Extended Hands Cancer Ministry will have its annual Cancer Awareness Breakfast and Silent Auction 9-11:30 a.m. today at Silverstone Golf Club, 8600 Cupp Drive. Registration and the auction will begin at 8:30 a.m. The featured topic of the event will be "Triple Negative Breast Cancer." Tickets are $40 (531-6191).
Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will host a Brunch & Bid event at 11 a.m. Sunday . After brunch, attendees may bid on gift items and dining certificates. Tickets are $5-$6 (732-2052).
The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada, 9001 Hillpointe Road, will celebrate its one-year anniversary at its new home in Summerlin 1-4 p.m. Sept. 25. Programs offered by the center will be highlighted. The free event also will feature entertainment, including "America’s Got Talent" finalist Seth Grabel, as well as children’s activities, a preview of the JCCSN Book Festival, vendors, and ice cream and birthday cake (794-0090).
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Our Lady of the Rosary will have its annual fashion show and luncheon noon-3 p.m. Oct. 1 in the Ave Maria Center at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St. Tickets are $20, and proceeds will be used to help the needy in the Las Vegas Valley (458-2593).
Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 6220 N. Jones Blvd., will have its annual Lutheran Women’s Missionary League yard sale 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 1 in the church parking lot (645-4998).
Epiphany Episcopal Church, 9041 S. Pecos Road, Suite 4000, Henderson, will have a "Taste of Spain" fundraiser at 5 p.m. Oct. 1. The event will feature Spanish wines and tapas as well as a silent auction and drawing. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door and are available at the church before 10 a.m. Sunday services or by calling 339-7239. Proceeds will benefit church ministries.

The Las Vegas Lay Dominicans will meet 10 a.m.-noon Sept. 24 for prayer, formation activities and a Communion service at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Newman Community, 4765 Brussels St.
The Sathya Sai Baba Devotional Singing Group meets at 5 p.m. Sundays at 1128 Triumph Court (461-8655).
CLASSES

SINGLES GROUPS

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church has a singles dinner for ages 60 and older the first Wednesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at Black Mountain Grill, 11021 S. Eastern Ave., Henderson (796-1953).
New Life Christian Center has a singles meeting at 7 p.m. the second Friday of the month at 1229 E. Carson Ave. (387-5433).
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church sponsors a singles group for people 45 and older (228-8311, ext. 7333 or 7334).
Single Adults Learning Together, or SALT Ministries of CornerStone Christian Fellowship, meets at 6 p.m. Saturdays at 5825 W. Eldora Ave. (871-5050).
