MUSIC

Trinity United Methodist Church, 6151 W. Charleston Blvd., will present “Bow the Knee,” a Palm Sunday cantata, at 9 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday (870-4747).

EVENTS

The Nevada Desert Experience will host its 30th annual Lenten Desert Experience Peace Walks through April 6 at various locations. A welcome and orientation will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the Nevada Desert Experience and Pace e Bene Offices, 1420 W. Bartlett Ave. On Sunday, a peace walk will begin with a blessing at 8:30 a.m. at the National Atomic Testing Museum, 755 E. Flamingo Road. A Good Friday Stations of the Cross re-enactment will be at 10 a.m. Friday outside the Mercury entrance to the Nevada Test Site. Shadow Hills Baptist Church Music and Creative Ministries will present “To the King: A Night of Worship and Easter Celebration” at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at 7811 Vegas Drive. Admission is free (880-7811).

Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 6220 N. Jones Blvd., will host a community Easter egg hunt and safety fair 10 a.m.-1 p.m. April 7 (645-5229).

The Rock Christian Church will host its fourth annual “rock hunt” at 9 a.m. Easter Sunday, April 8, on the front lawn of Steele Elementary School, 6995 W. Eldorado Lane. The event is for children up to fifth grade. Prizes will be awarded for the rocks redeemed. A free breakfast will be served to parents of children participating in the hunt. SERVICES

Congregation B’nai Tikvah will host a Passover Seder Survival Class at 10 a.m. Sunday in Summerlin. For reservations and location, call 436-4900. A Passover Seder will be at 6 p.m. April 7 in the Blasco Event Wing of the UNLV Foundation Building on the southwest corner of Maryland Parkway and Cottage Grove Avenue. Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., will have its 27th annual interdenominational Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. April 8. The service will also feature music by the Desert Chorale, a complimentary continental breakfast, dove release and the Easter bunny (464-8500).

First Presbyterian Church, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd., will offer the following Easter services: Palm Sunday at 8:30 and 11 a.m.; Good Friday at 7 p.m.; and Easter Sunday at 8:30 and 11 a.m. April 8 (384-4554).

Summerlin Presbyterian Church, 4590 S. Hualapai Way, will offer the following Easter services: Palm Sunday at 10:30 a.m.; Maundy Thursday at 7 p.m.; and Easter Sunday at 10:30 a.m. April 8 (243-0780).

Nonpointe Community Church will have a Resurrection Celebration service at 10 a.m. April 8 at Hagen Elementary School, 150 W. Rome Blvd., North Las Vegas. The service will include music, chocolate egg handouts and a children’s Easter egg hunt (482-7382).

MEETINGS

The St. Margaret of Cortona Secular Franciscans Fraternity of Las Vegas meets at 12:30 p.m. the fourth Sunday of the month at Pace E Bene offices, 1420 W. Bartlett Ave. (453-2417).

CLASSES
