MUSIC

Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson, is presenting its Summer Music Series at 7:30 p.m. Saturdays in June. Soprano Alisa Thomason will perform today, and Jonathon Troy, principal clarinetist of the Las Vegas Philharmonic, will perform June 27 with Dan Beck on trumpet. The series is free, but freewill donations will be accepted (454-8484).

EVENTS

In recognition of National HIV Testing Day, Canyon Ridge Christian Church, 6200 W. Lone Mountain Road, will offer free HIV testing 11 a.m.-6 p.m. today (658-2722).

MEETINGS

The Secular Franciscans of St. Margaret of Cortona fraternity meets at 12:30 p.m. the fourth Sunday of the month at Pace E Bene offices, 1420 W. Bartlett Ave. (453-2417).

CLASSES

First Baptist Church of the Lakes, 9125 Spring Mountain Road, will offer Boomerang Express vacation Bible school, for ages 4 to sixth-graders, at 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Bible school will include lessons, crafts, games, music and more (982-6056).

Community Baptist Church, 245 E. Foster Ave., Henderson, will offer vacation Bible school for all ages at 6 p.m. June 29-July 3. A kickoff event will be at noon June 27. Registration is necessary to participate (565-0071).

The Rev. Jim Serada and the Vernon Howard Study Group will meet at 7 p.m. June 30 at Boulder City Library, 701 Adams Blvd. (616-9317).

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., offers an English as Second Language "Talk Time" class with tutors and students 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays (202-6579 or 732-2952).

Community Baptist Church, 245 E. Foster Ave., Henderson, offers a free reading program for all ages 7-9 p.m. Wednesdays (565-0071).

SINGLES GROUPS

The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada, Temple Sinai and Congregation Ner Tamid offer a variety of programs for Jewish singles of all ages in Las Vegas and Henderson. For details, call the Jewish Community Center at 794-0090, Temple Sinai at 254-5110 or Congregation Ner Tamid at 733-6292.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church sponsors singles groups for professionals 25 to 45 years old and a singles group for people 45 and older (228-8311, Ext. 7333 or 7334).
