MUSIC

Sonrise Baptist Church, 1780 Betty Lane, will present the Fourth of July musical “Freedom” at 10:45 a.m. Sunday (452-8599).

SERVICES

St. Bridget Roman Catholic Church, 220 N. 14th St., will have a novena in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with the Rev. Jude O. Mbukanma Wednesday through July 16. Confessions will be offered at 6 p.m. with the rosary at 6:40 and Mass at 7 followed by novena prayers Wednesday through Friday and July 13-16. Confessions will be offered at 4 p.m. with the rosary at 4:40 and Mass at 5 followed by novena prayers July 11 and 12 (384-3382).

Our Lady of Wisdom Church, 2120 Lindell Road, will celebrate Our Blessed Mother of Mount Carmel novena at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday through July 16. A candlelight procession will be at 7:30 p.m. July 16 (873-5101).

Central Christian Church will feature the Rev. Bil Cornelius, pastor at Bay Area Fellowship in Corpus Christi, Texas, at its services at 4:30 and 6 p.m. today and 9, 10:20 and 11:45 a.m. Sunday at its Henderson campus, 1001 New Beginnings Drive. CLASSES

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will offer its summer day camp, Camp Hope,” from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 27 through Aug. 7. The camp will have games, arts and crafts, stories and other activities. Breakfast and lunch will be included. There is no registration fee (732-2052).

Temple Sinai, 9001 Hillpointe Road, offers classes to members and the general public on various Sundays each month (254-5110).

The Las Vegas Diamond Way Buddhist Group offers guided meditation and dharma talks (260-4426).

Govinda’s Center of Vedic India, 6380 S. Eastern Ave., offers Mantra Meditation, a presentation of Indian Vedic Wisdom, vegetarian snacks and literature at 6 p.m. Sundays (434-8332).

SINGLES GROUPS
