“UNLV Vocal Recital: On Our Way to Graz,” featuring Jahmaul Bakare, Sharonda McKee and Isabella Ivy, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. today at Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson. A freewill offering will be taken (454-8484).

Singles groups

New Life Christian Center has a singles meeting at 7 p.m. the second Friday of the month at 1229 E. Carson Ave. (387-5433).

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church sponsors singles groups for professionals 25 to 45 years old and a singles group for people 45 and older (228-8311, Ext. 7333 or 7334).

Single Adults Learning Together, or SALT Ministries of CornerStone Christian Fellowship, meets at 6 p.m. Saturdays at 5825 W. Eldora Ave. (871-5050).

Community Baptist Church, 245 E. Foster Ave., Henderson, will offer a “Christian Growth Workshop” 6-9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. The workshop will end with services at 8 and 11 a.m. June 13 (565-0071).

The Sonshine Band Music Camp for youth in grades six through 12 will be offered noon-5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays June 14-25 at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 6670 W. Cheyenne Ave. The fee is $25 and includes books, music, food and a T-shirt. To register, call 645-1777.

The Men’s Ministry of Victory Black Mountain Church, 700 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, will host a Men’s Day Conference with the Rev. Robert E. Fowler June 19 and 20. The theme of the conference will be “When Men are Men.” The guest speaker will be the Rev. Jack Crane from True Vine Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. June 19, with the conference starting at 9 a.m. A Life Development class will be at 10:30 a.m. June 20, followed by services at 11:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. (564-2840).

The women of Unity Baptist Church will have their annual retreat rally at 11 a.m. June 26 at the church, 545 Marion Drive (459-4463).
