First Henderson United Methodist Church, 609 E. Horizon Drive, Henderson, will have an Easter egg hunt for children up to age 11 at 11 a.m. today in the church courtyard (565-6409).

“He’s Alive” the Passion Play will be presented at 2 p.m. today at East Vegas Christian Center, 6450 Stewart Ave. Admission is free (450-5511).

The Church at South Las Vegas, 3051 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, Henderson, will have Easter egg hunts following the 2 p.m. Spanish service and 4 p.m. special Easter service today, and after the 10 and 11:45 a.m. and 5 p.m. services Sunday (361-1579).

The Sonrise Singers of Sunrise Baptist Church, 1780 Betty Lane, will present the Easter musical “God With Us” at 6 p.m. today and 10:45 a.m. Sunday. The program is free (452-8599).

Grace in the Desert Episcopal Church, 2004 Spring Gate Lane, will have a fundraiser for Haitian relief and recovery, “Magical Music for Haiti,” at 4 p.m. April 11. Donations of $10 will be requested (775-253-5579).

SERVICES

The Church at South Las Vegas, 3051 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, Henderson, will have Easter services today at 2, 4 and 6 p.m., with additional services on Sunday at 8:30, 10 and 11:45 a.m., 2 and 5 p.m. (361-1579).

Central Christian Church will offer Easter services at all four of its locations. Services at the Henderson campus, 1001 New Beginnings Drive, will be at 3, 4:30 and 6 p.m. today; 9, 10:20 and 11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Sunday; and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. There also will be a Spanish service offered at 6 p.m. Sunday. The Summerlin location at Faith Lutheran Junior-Senior High School, 2015 S. Hualapai Way, will have services at 9, 10:20 and 11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Sunday. The southwest location at Desert Oasis High School, 6600 W. Erie Ave., will have services at 9, 10:20 and 11:45 a.m. Sunday. The northeast location at 1460 Tree Line Drive will have services at 9, 10:20 and 11:45 a.m. Sunday. Christ Episcopal Church, 2000 S. Maryland Parkway, will have its first Easter service at 8 p.m. today with the lighting of the church, followed by baptism. Easter Day services will be at 8 and 10:30 a.m. (735-7655).

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will have an Easter sunrise service at 6:30 Sunday, followed by a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and an additional service at 9:30 a.m. (732-2052).

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., offers English as a Second Language classes at 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (541-1952 or 732-2052).

Community Baptist Church, 245 E. Foster Ave., Henderson, offers a free reading program for all ages 7-9 p.m. Wednesdays (565-0071).

Singles groups

New Life Christian Center has a singles meeting at 7 p.m. the second Friday of the month at 1229 E. Carson Ave. (387-5433).

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church sponsors singles groups for professionals 25 to 45 years old and a singles group for people 45 and older (228-8311, Ext. 7333 or 7334).

Single Adults Learning Together, or SALT Ministries of CornerStone Christian Fellowship, meets at 6 p.m. Saturdays at 5825 W. Eldora Ave. (871-5050).
