EVENTS

Warm Springs Baptist Church, 2075 Warm Springs Road, Henderson, will have a yard sale featuring gently used items, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. today. Proceeds will benefit the church’s youth groups and Club Christ Ministries (361-7070).

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will host a community forum with Gary Heckman from Thrivent Financial on “Estate Preservation & Wills” at 11 a.m. Sunday. On July 25, the church will host the forum “Individual Disaster Preparedness … What You Need to Know” with Caren Bedsworth from the American Red Cross at 11 a.m. Coffee and refreshments will be provided (732-2052).

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will offer a “Camp Hope” summer day camp 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Aug. 2-6. The day camp for children from kindergarten through sixth grade will feature crafts, games, singing, stories and drama. Breakfast and lunch will be included. Preregistration is required (732-2052).

The Rev. Jim Serada and the Vernon Howard Study Group will meet at 6 p.m. July 27 at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road (616-9317).

MEETINGS

The Sathya Sai Baba Devotional Singing Group meets at 5 p.m. Sundays at 1128 Triumph Court (461-8655).

The Secular Franciscans of St. Margaret of Cortona fraternity meets at 12:30 p.m. the fourth Sunday of the month at Pace E Bene offices, 1420 W. Bartlett Ave. (453-2417).

Singles groups

The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada, Temple Sinai and Congregation Ner Tamid offer a variety of programs for Jewish singles of all ages in Las Vegas and Henderson. For details, call the Jewish Community Center at 794-0090, Temple Sinai at 254-5110 or Congregation Ner Tamid at 733-6292.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church sponsors singles groups for professionals 25 to 45 years old and a singles group for people 45 and older (228-8311, Ext. 7333 or 7334).

Single Adults Learning Together, or SALT Ministries of CornerStone Christian Fellowship, meets at 6 p.m. Saturdays at 5825 W. Eldora Ave. (871-5050).
