MUSIC

First Christian Church, 101 S. Rancho Drive, will present its annual “Joy of Christmas” concert at 7 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free, but a goodwill offering will be received. A nursery will be provided for small children. Following the concert, a yuletide reception will be in Fellowship Hall (384-1544).

Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson, will present its annual “Brass & Organ Christmas Sing-a-long” at 2 p.m. Dec. 19. A goodwill offering will be received (454-8484).

EVENTS

“The Nativity,” a 100-plus cast member production of the biblical account of the birth of Jesus Christ, will be presented by the Redrock Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 6 and 8 p.m. today at Opportunity Village’s Ralph & Betty Engelstad Campus at 6050 S. Buffalo Drive, north of the Las Vegas Beltway. Admission is free. The event also will feature live musical performances and Nativities on display (thenativitylv.com).

St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, will have its annual fall holiday craft sale featuring handmade afghans, scarves and hats, baby clothing items, religious items, baked goods and other items, 2-7 p.m. today and 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday (565-8406).

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will have a Holiday Day Camp for children in kindergarten through sixth-grade 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Dec. 27-30. The fee is $40, and scholarships are available. To register, call 732-2052.

SERVICES

St. Bridget Catholic Church, 220 N. 14th St., will have a novena in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe through Sunday with rosary at 6:30 p.m. and Mass at 7 p.m. (384-3382).

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will have a Christmas Eve candlelight service featuring music, carols and lighting of candles at 6 p.m. Dec. 24 (732-2052).

MEETINGS

The Las Vegas Lay Dominicans will have their monthly meeting featuring prayer, formation activities and a Communion service, 10 a.m.-noon Dec. 18 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Newman Community, 4765 Brussels St.
