Say goodbye to wet, soapy sleeves
Don’t you just hate when sudsy, grimy dishwater runs down your arm and drips onto your feet? You’re not alone. In fact, the folks at Casabella had you and so many others in mind when they developed the Water Stop Premium Gloves.
The dishwashing gloves feature an extra-long, patented cuff that catches liquids before they have the chance to roll down your arm.
The bright pink gloves are slightly tapered for a better fit, keeping you stylish as you wash dishes or engage in any number of household activities.
As much as the Water Stop gloves are attractive, they are equally practical. The outer lining is 100-percent breathable latex that features a special texture for safe and easy gripping. Of course, your hands will only be able to feel the soft, 100-percent cotton flock inner lining. Who knows, you even may not want to take them off.
Casabella’s nontoxic, all-purpose, Water Stop gloves come in packs of three pairs for $11.99, and are available in small, medium and large. Buy them at www.casabella.com., where 10 percent of all sales are donated to the prevention of domestic violence.

Sanitizer harnesses hospital-quality clean
Ever wish you had the power to sanitize home surfaces and food to the same degree a hospital does? Understanding that desire to deliver safe preparation environments while maintaining a green attitude, Tersano invented the lotus Sanitizing System that infuses ordinary tap water with ozone to create a safe, natural cleaner and sanitizer.
For those hooked on endorsements, the product was lauded by Time magazine as the Best Invention of 2006.
The lotus Sanitizing System draws from technology widely used by progressive hospitals worldwide to clean and sanitize surgical instruments. The compact household unit converts the oxygen found in ordinary tap water into a super natural oxidant (ozone) using its unique, patented Oxyshield technology. Ozone is a safe and natural sanitizer that is harmless to healthy cells. The resulting ozone-infused water has been proven highly effective as an all-purpose sanitizer for surfaces and other items, a powerful cleaner that removes stains, mold, mildew and odors, and a medium that neutralizes up to 99.9 percent of bacteria and pesticides on foods.
The system comes with a base unit, an all-purpose sanitizing bowl, a spray bottle, a booster cartridge and two microfiber cloths.
The lotus system retails for $169.99 and is available at www.tersano.com.
Spray disinfectant safe for pets, kids
Pure Bioscience has developed an Environmental Protection Agency-approved disinfectant that fights germs without the harmful chemicals that exist in nearly all household cleaners. The product is called Germ Control 24, and it embodies the next generation of microbial control.
Using new technology, a patented molecule called silver dihydrogen citrate, Pure Bioscience’s hard-surface disinfectant eliminates dangerous chemicals and toxins from homes and nasty germs alike.
With SDC, Germ Control 24 powerfully protects as a fungicide (it kills athlete’s foot in less than 10 minutes) and a virucide.
As an antibacterial disinfectant, SDC may be a nightmare for harmful microbes, but it is completely harmless and nontoxic for humans and animals. Once applied, Germ Control 24 has a residual protection life of 24 hours, which means it continues to work while you sleep.
And you won’t have to worry about your kids getting their hands on this miracle spray. Germ Control 24 contains the lowest toxicity rating available. It is tasteless, odorless, noncorrosive and nonflammable. You don’t even have to rinse after using.
Germ Control 24 is available at The Home Depot, and costs $4 for a 32-ounce bottle; $12 for a 1-gallon container.
