What: Vegetable Gardening in Small Spaces. University of Nevada Cooperative Extension expert Angela O’Callaghan will lead beginning and advanced classes that include types of containers, composting, fertilizers and pest management.

When: 8 a.m.-noon beginning class; 1-5 p.m. advanced class.

Cost: $15 per class, includes materials and one plant. Additional plants are $2.

They were in bloom when we planted them five or six years ago, and they bloomed the following year as well. But they have not bloomed again.
