What: Sunset Garden Club. The monthly meeting will feature “I Did It, So Can You (floral design)” presented by Linnea Domz, a former floral instructor for national Garden Clubs. Domz has taught in many countries around the world and is a trustee, past president and floral judge for Nevada Garden Clubs. She is a member of the Las Vegas Flower Arrangers Guild and Rose Garden Club.

What: The Conservation District of Southern Nevada and the College of Southern Nevada will offer plants specifically for the Mojave area. Hummingbird and butterfly attractors as well as native Mojave plants and desert tortoise food plants will be available. All of the plant material was grown locally by college students and is drought tolerant to promote water conservation.

What: What on Earth Day. Visitors to the Springs Preserve will help celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day with a variety of free games and attractions for all ages. There will be information about how to live, work and play greener.
