Levolor launches cordless Roman shades collection

Levolor Window Fashions, a leading window treatments brand, recently debuted a Roman shades collection, which includes the first and only line of cordless Roman shades on the market.

The line includes a variety of new and exclusive colors and patterns with both light-filtering and room-darkening options, as well as new and exclusive patent-pending features, such as the cordless lift system with top down/bottom up operation.

“Levolor’s Roman shades offer the largest selection of trend-right colors and patterns and customization options, solidifying our commitment to providing functional, stylish products that enhance all home décor,” said Cessy Brown, marketing manager for Levolor Window Fashions. “Our customers told us they wanted more options when it came to window treatments, and to meet that request, we’ve provided fabric selections and operating options not currently available in competitive products.”

The Roman shades were designed based on feedback from consumers, resulting in a blend of fashion and usability. According to the company, consumers were concerned with limited fabric, style, color and pattern options in Roman shades. With this in mind, Levolor product managers developed a line of Roman shades available in trend-right patterns and stripes for a total of 90 colors to complement a variety of home décors. The fabrics and textures are even available in extra-wide seamless fabric widths, up to 144 inches, to help with large custom windows.

Levolor is now the only brand to offer the cordless lift system option, as well as the cordless option paired with the innovative top down/bottom up feature. Cordless shades eliminate dangling lift cords, which are hazardous to children and pets, and provide a clean, uninterrupted window silhouette.

The new room-darkening and light-filtering options are also available to maximize privacy and light control.

The shades are available at Lowe’s, The Home Depot, JCPenney, and Sherwin Williams, among other locations.
