J. Raymond lets buyers ‘Imagine’ the possibilities

J. Raymond Furniture’s “Imagine that!” collection, which allows consumers to customize their seating solutions, presented several new options during the recent home-furnishings market in High Point, N.C.

Introductions included left and right arm corner sofas, a chair-and-a-half with an oversized ottoman, and slipcover group named Sea Side that includes a sofa, queen-sized sleeper, love seat, chair and ottoman.

“We’re continuing to address the lifestyle market with casual-comfy stationary, motion, theater and outdoor seating,” said Fred Leach, vice president of sales and marketing.

Topping other custom design programs in the lifestyle upholstery category, Imagine that! gives customers the most stylish and functional choices in the market, according to Leach. Through in-store software and online at www.jray-mondfurniture.com, consumers can choose seat, arm, back and base styles.

These additions give customers the ability to create upholstery settings that not only meets their budgets, but individual personalities and lifestyle needs, as well as interior space.

Both new corner armless sofas can be used singly or together for a modernized version of the sectional.

For a more complete room solution, Leach recommends the slipcovered grouping, Sea Side, for its endless possibilities. The love seat and chair can be paired with a companion ottoman in a smaller room. A more traditional great room effect offering more seating space incorporates the sofa with the love seat, chair and ottoman.

Equally stylish and functional are the J-named ottomans, Jen, Joan and June. “They’re not only plush foot rests, but offer additional tabletop space above for various items and storage below,” Leach said.

Named in honor of J. Raymond Gerken, son of Norwalk Furniture Corp. founder Charles Edward Gerken, J. Raymond Furniture carries a legacy of quality furniture backed by exceptional customer service, hassle-free shipments, sales training and good warranties while providing “a custom look at a ready-made price.”
