Ashley Furniture named No. 1 retailer
For the past 10 years and counting, Ashley Furniture HomeStores celebrates its position at the top of the retail furniture food chain with its latest accolade from Furniture Today magazine.
Renowned as “the weekly business newspaper of the furniture industry,” Furniture Today’s designation of Ashley Furniture HomeStores as the No. 1 home furnishings retailer in the United States comes as no surprise to the organization’s president.
“Our HomeStores have been the fastest-growing retailer for the past four years,” said Chuck Spang, president of the Ashley HomeStores Ltd. “Our goal has always been to delight our customers and positively change the way people shop for home furnishings. We are constantly looking at ways to improve the shopping experience from the sales floor to the delivery process.”
Established in 1945, Ashley Furniture currently has 320 independently owned Ashley Furniture HomeStores in North America, including two in Las Vegas.
“We are very optimistic about future growth for years to come as the Ashley Furniture HomeStores are a proven retail furniture model that operates well in both the small and large metropolitan markets in the United States and Canada,” Spang said.
The Ashley Furniture HomeStores sell furniture from Ashley Furniture Industries Inc. Ashley Furniture Industries is the largest furniture manufacturer in the United States and has the No. 1-selling furniture brand in North America.
