Interior design society names new leader

The California Central/Nevada chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers recently named Kerrie Kelly as the incoming president for the 2007-2008 year. Kelly is owner of Sacramento-based All American Design & Furnishings.

“The ASID California Central/Nevada Chapter is 710 people strong and we are growing,” she said. “Collectively, we represent the professionals in the community that may have a hand in remodeling your home, contributing to the layout of your local doctor’s office or designing the office space in which you work.”

Kelly’s goals for the year include addressing issues such as sustainability and aging in place. Additionally, the chapter will stay in tune with the national movement to build and renovate using eco-friendly techniques, and expand green awareness.

A member of ASID for 17 years, Kelly has served more than 1,000 residential and commercial clients through her company.
