Great Indoors seminar to focus on kitchen
The Great Indoors will present a free seminar about kitchen remodeling and design from 1-2 p.m. Sept. 6 at its Summerlin location, 700 S. Rampart Blvd.
The session, open to the public as well as designers and contractors, will cover the basics of good design, preremodel considerations, what’s new in kitchen design and remodeling reality. New ideas in cabinetry and new products will be presented.
The seminar will be conducted in the store’s Great Kitchen vignette. Certified designers will present literature, explain how the store’s remodeling system works and provide information on care and maintenance for a new kitchen.
For each project, the store assigns a dedicated project manager to oversee the entire process and act as a single point of contact for any questions that might arise. In addition, the manager is responsible for coordinating the timely completion of the project and ensuring the quality of the final product.
Reservations are requested, but not necessary. They can be made by visiting the store, located in the Boca Park plaza.
Bassett celebrates with sofa giveaway
Bassett Furniture will kick off its 106th anniversary by giving away a custom-made sofa every day for 106 days.
The celebration, which begins Thursday, includes an online giveaway sweepstakes that was designed to showcase the company’s commitment to its quality home furnishings, custom-made designs and 30-day delivery.
One custom sofa will be awarded each day throughout the sweepstakes, which continues through Dec. 18 at www.BassettFurniture.com.
The interactive, online custom upholstery tool allows each visitor to get creative and build a dream sofa from scratch. Choosing from small to extra large, the first choice is the scale of the sofa. Other choices include 10 options for arms, five choices for the back and six choices for the leg.
Customers also choose from more than 750 fabrics, along with design features such as constrasting welting, pillow fringe, monogramming and wood leg types and finishes.
Custom designs also can be created at Bassett Furniture locations nationwide, including the Las Vegas store on West Sahara Avenue.
Dream sofa designs can be submitted online for a chance to win.
In addition to the Everyday Giveaway, Bassett has introduced new collections in dining, bedroom, living room and work space. Each collection is accented with new finishing touches, interior design accessories such as lighting, end tables, chairs, prints and new upholstery fabrics to complete the newly designed rooms.
