Rug Decor opens store in Henderson
Rug Decor of Henderson is introducing a new concept in area rug shopping to the Las Vegas market while bringing an enterprising family together at the same time.
A growing chain of retail stores that sell branded, fashion-oriented area rugs, Rug Decor houses thousands of choices, offers a large selection of in-stock inventory and has a design-oriented staff.
One of 37 locations nationwide, the Henderson store opened in early August at 9560 S. Eastern Ave.
“This store is what the people want in an area rug retailer. Rug Decor’s shopping environment is welcoming, the products are value priced, and we have a selection so large, there’s something for everyone,” said owner Bill Stocks.
The store carries area rugs to complement any room design from brands such as Kathy Ireland, Karastan, Urban Renaissance and Andy Warhol.
Stocks’ wife and children have played an integral role in the store’s opening. One of his daughters is the store manager and four of his other children serve as sales staff.
Ranging between 3,000 and 4,000 square feet, the company’s franchises were designed to offer an ideal shopping environment. Sales staffs are trained in a custom-design program to help buyers choose the right style, size and color to best suit a room. Customers can make their selections at the store, or they can shop from home through online and print catalogs.
Stocks, an international pilot for American Airlines, is always ready to reach new horizons, and opening his own business with Rug Decor’s turnkey franchise model has proven to be a perfect fit.
“Our store owners are backed by professionalism and unparalleled buying power of a large corporation and provide the customer service of a small business,” said Mark Jameson, vice president of franchise development with Rug Decor.
