Fireplace has timeless appeal

Taking its cue from traditional American homes, Dimplex has introduced an electric fireplace with classical style.

The Hartford is stately yet simple, said Kristine Rose, vice president of the company’s Symphony division.

“The architectural elements of the piece create the feeling that it’s built into the room, while the styling elements have a timeless appeal that adds a touch of sophistication to any décor.”

The fireplace is finished in aged cherry, has hand-finished logs and features the company’s patented adjustable flame effect. It offers a range of settings, from a flicker to a blaze, and has a heating element that works separately from the flames.

Additionally, the unit is equipped with the company’s Purifire air treatment system that circulates and filters the air to remove pollen, mold, dander, dust and other allergens.
