Nevada Health Care Forum slated for Las Vegas on Oct. 11

Medical professionals are scheduled to discuss changes, trends and opportunities in health care Oct. 11 at fourth annual the Nevada Health Care Forum.
The forum, which is open to the public, will be held at the United HealthCare campus, Chairman’s Auditorium, 2700 North Tenaya Way. More than 300 health care executives and government leaders are scheduled to attend.
“We are very excited to have so many industry leaders in the same room,” Russell Suzuki, president of Certified Healthcare Systems, said in a statement. “The panel discussions and guest speakers will provide fresh insight on health care issues impacting Nevadans.”
Topics discussed will include the national impact of federal health care reform on Nevadans, quality and care management in health care and the future of Medicare and Medicaid.
The Forum is hosted by the Nevada chapters of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Medical Group Management Association, Healthcare Information Management Systems Society and Healthcare Financial Management Association.
