LIBERTY Dental to serve Clark, Washoe county Medicaid patients

Updated September 12, 2017 - 3:24 pm

Liberty Dental Plan of Nevada said Tuesday it will provide dental Medicaid coverage in Clark and Washoe counties in 2018.

The company accepted a two-year contract with the state, which was finalized last month by the state Board of Examiners, including Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval.

Liberty has offered employer-based care in Nevada for the last 10 years, according to a news release announcing the deal. The company employs 70 people in its Las Vegas office.
