Heart & Stroke Walk Returns to Fremont Street

The Heart & Stroke Walk returns to Fremont Street Nov. 2. Sponsored and organized by the American Heart Association, the 2013 My Heart, My Life Heart & Stroke Walk is a Rediscover Downtown event, part of a series of events designed to encourage locals to rediscover the heart of their city. The event includes both a noncompetitive 5K and 1-mile walk, as well as a timed 5K run. It also includes free health screenings, entertainment, food and more. All survivors of heart disease or stroke will receive a red cap and T-shirt.
