Father’s Day celebration includes jazz and blues in Lorenzi Park

Sammy Davis Jr. Festival Plaza in Lorenzi Park will be filled with classic jazz and blues music Sunday when the Woody Woods Orchestra performs at 7 p.m. in celebration of Father’s Day.

Vocal arrangements will be sung by Sophia Lelis and Melanie Moore.

The entrance to the theater is on Twin Lakes Drive. Gates open at 6 p.m.

Picnics are welcome, but glass containers are not permitted. Free hot dogs and beverages will be available while supplies last.

Participants should bring blankets or sand chairs for seating on the grass or lawn chairs for patio seating.
