By Design: The Forum Shops at Caesars and the Art Institute of Las Vegas have conducted a search for Las Vegas’ best new designer and the top 10 finalists have been selected. One talented designer will win the title at Fashion’s Night Out. The top three designers will be featured in a special fashion show taking place directly over The Forum Shops reflecting pool at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 8. Matt Goss will announce the winner, who will receive a $500 shopping spree.

Clothes Call: Tivoli Village hosts a fashion show benefitting local charities St. Jude’s Ranch for Children and Las Vegas Prom Closet from 1 to 6 p.m. Sept. 10. Rally for Fashion-Show Your Spirit at Tivoli Village will include three fashion shows at noon, 2 and 4 p.m. Cheerleaders from Palo Verde, Faith Lutheran and Centennial high schools will model the clothes from Tivoli retailers. Throughout the day, Tivoli will collect gently used clothing for teens that will be donated. Donations can be homecoming and prom dresses, purses, jewelry, men’s dress pants, jackets, shoes and belts. Clothing must be cleaned or dry cleaned when appropriate.

Fashion for Cause: The Steampunk Cause-Play Couture Fashion Show, from 7 to 10 p.m. Sept. 17 at Artifice, will benefit Spread the Word Nevada and The Center Las Vegas. Brieanna Brock, Mina Kahn and Amber Foley host the event at 1025 First St. There will be raffles, a silent auction, photo booth, shot specials and more.

Special Spa: The Spa at Four Seasons in Las Vegas is among the world’s best, according to "Travel + Leisure" magazine’s latest readers’ poll. The spa ranked third on the magazine’s list of Top Five Hotel Spas in the U.S. and Canada. It was the only Vegas spa listed and it appears in the September issue.

Fifties Fashion: The city of Henderson has partnered with Bettie Page Clothing to debut the first-ever Super Run fashion show at this year’s classic car show. Models will hit the runway, unveiling the boutique’s fall collection at 7 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Henderson Events Plaza. Spectator admission is complimentary. Fashions will feature a ’50s retro flair.

Fashion for Fans: In collaboration with the NFL, Old Navy will now offer apparel and accessories for all professional football and select collegiate sports teams in the United States with its Superfan Nation shops. Each store will have a tailored collection that caters to the favorite teams of the local communities. Apparel will start at $14.94 and the assortment of hard goods and accessories will start at $5.50.

What a Night: Fashion’s Night Out returns to Las Vegas Sept. 8. Shopping outlets such as Fashion Show, the Forum Shops at Caesars, The Shoppes at The Palazzo, Crystals at CityCenter and many more are participating with celebrity appearances, entertainment, giveaways and more. Enter to Win: The Uniqlo UT Grand Prix launches its eighth annual T-shirt design program to unearth the next generation of graphic and fashion designers. Coca-Cola is this year’s partner. Candidates are encouraged to send in their T-shirt designs using the shirt as a blank canvas and Coca-Cola as inspiration. Now Open: The Bebe store at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood was closed for renovation and has now reopened.

Grand Opening: Local hair, makeup and body painting artist Krystle Randall now has a home base at SkinCity studio at 1209 S. Main St. SkinCity Body Painting and much more will be conducted out of this studio.

Playing Games: Shapewear designer Nancy Ganz has combined her experience in the worlds of fashion and business to create Fashion Fantasy Game, an innovative online platform that allows teens to design, create and manage their own clothing lines and virtual boutiques. Be a Man: Misura, a men’s fine apparel boutique, is now open at The Mirage. Misura offers brands such as Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Tommy Bahama, True Religion, Affliction, Puma and Calvin Klein.

Now Open: Nike has opened its latest store concept, only the fifth of its kind in the United States, at The Forum Shops at Caesars today. The newly revamped 30,000-square-foot location offers the largest multicategory brand experience in the country. The new NIKEiD system lets customers customize footwear, apparel and equipment.

Wax Poetic: The Birthday Suit has opened in Las Vegas at 7645 S. Rainbow Blvd., Suite 101. A wide range of waxing and mini spa services are offered here.

Shoe In: Check out the new Christian Louboutin boutique now open at the Forum Shops at Caesars. The designer’s uber popular shoes and accessories are elegantly presented and the growing men’s collection is available in its own separate room.
