Fashion Show: Flockflockflock is putting on a Halloween fashion show at 10 p.m. Sunday at The Royal House. Red Eye Radio and Halloween Town will perform. The Royal House is located at 99 Convention Center Drive.
Now Open: Patty’s Closet fashion boutique has opened its fifth Las Vegas store on the northwest side of town. The franchise owner is Melissa Duran, formerly of KLAS-TV, Channel 8. The new store will continue with the existing Patty’s Closet concept and carry only six of each style in sizes small, medium and large. The northwest store will be located at 7010 N. Durango Blvd., Suite 120.
On the Plus Side: Charming Shoppes Inc., a specialty plus-size retailer, is pleased to announce that consumers shopping for plus sizes around the globe will have online access to fashion brands such as Lane Bryant, Cacique, Catherines, Fashion Bug and Loop 18, at Sonsi.com.
Suit Up: Miracle Mile Shops and Planet Hollywood Resort host a suit drive in conjunction with United Way of Southern Nevada’s Leadership Council’s Fourth Annual Fall Suit Drive now through Nov. 3. Those wanting to donate new and gently used women’s suits and professional attire can drop them off during normal operating hours to the Miracle Mile Shops customer service desk. The suits go to women who need them to prepare for career opportunities. All suit donors get a Miracle Mile Shops coupon book valued at $2,000. Additionally, all coins tossed into the fountain and indoor rainstorm during November benefit United Way of Southern Nevada.
Trunk Show: Ice Jewelry and Donald J. Pliner will feature an in-store trunk show featuring the latest holiday shoes and accessories from noon to 6 p.m. Nov. 19 at Donald J. On Air: Local image consultant Lauren Rubeli now hosts a radio show on VegasKool.com called Image Strategies. Tune in for all aspects of image from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays.
Spooky Style: Fashion design students from the International Academy of Design and Technology Las Vegas will have their Halloween couture displayed from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today in the stagebox near the Great Hall at Fashion Show mall. Students have created costumes inspired by fashion’s biggest names, including Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Dior and Versace. There will also be a Halloween Couture runway show at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Forever in Fashion: Forever 21 announced a capsule collection with jewelry designer Alex & Chloe for Holiday 2011 that will launch in December. The 12-piece collection for men and women was influenced by punk and goth elements and accented with geometric shapes, spikes, pears and crystals. The store also collaborates with L.A.-based designer Rory Beca for Holiday 2011. The 18-piece collection was inspired by the disco glam of the legendary nightclub Studio 54.
Beauty Bonanza: Donate $1 to Breast Cancer Research Fund at Ulta Beauty stores and register to win a beauty bag of pink products, valued at $598. One winner per store will be chosen. Those who make a contribution of $10, receive their choice of a pink ribbon umbrella or pink ribbon cosmetic bag.
Perfect Scents: Thomas Saujet, president of Hanae Mori Parfums, will appear at Nordstrom from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today to meet clients and sign bottles of new Hanae Mori Parfums No. 4. Part of the proceeds benefit the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund.
Sak it to Me: For Saks Fifth Avenue’s annual Key to the Cure campaign, Jennifer Hudson will serve as the ambassador. Elie Tahari created a limited edition T-shirt to benefit Key to the Cure that will retail for $35 at Saks stores.

Fountain of Hope: All money tossed into the fountain at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood in October will benefit the Southern Nevada affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The fountain will display a pink color between regularly scheduled water shows.
Think Pink: The Forum Shops at Caesars is offering its exclusive Simon Pink Ribbon Gift Card for purchase to benefit Komen for the Cure this October. For every gift card purchased, $1 is automatically donated. Additionally, shoppers who wear pink during October can get a special VIP shopping booklet with exclusive offers and discounts at the Concierge Centers.
Good Cause: Las Vegas Premium Outlets is teaming with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to support breast cancer awareness, outreach, research and treatment programs in its local community. During October, shoppers can visit the onsite information center to donate $10 and then shop at the onsite Premium Outlets Pink Event. For each donation of $10 or more, shoppers get a special savings card with deals from participating merchants. All proceeds benefit the Southern Nevada affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
