Silver Streak

White may be the darling of the season, but silver is edging its way in as the stainless steel alternative to a color that requires some degree of bronze on the skin to actually look good. When paired with summer whites, silver pops like a refreshing can of soda on a hot day. An abundance of silver finds its way on handbags and some articles of clothing, both daring ways to strike an allegiance to such a bold color. But one of the easiest ways to make the transition to the metallic crowd remains on your shoes. And unlike its sisters adorning handbags and clothing, the commitment to silver can last just for the summer or over the course of years; the color will never truly go out of style on footwear. The price you decide to pay depends on your level of commitment.
