SHOW US YOUR PURSE

Name: Michean Heffron

Occupation: Server at Sierra Gold

What kind of handbag? This is a Kathy Van Zeeland Napa drawstring purse in the color oyster.

How much did it cost? $110.

Where did you get it? I bought this purse at Macy’s at Fashion Show mall.

What does your handbag say about you? I think this bag shows that I like to pay close attention to detail. First impressions mean a lot to me. I feel that a person’s accessories can really help define one’s attitude and personality.

Why did you choose this handbag today? I chose this bag because I thought it was cute and it’s a great look for the summer. It goes great with the outfit I have on today.

What do you like about this handbag? I like this bag because every time I wear it, I receive great compliments about it. I don’t see that many girls carrying this bag and while it’s sometimes challenging to keep up with today’s trends, I also like to be different and stand out. This bag helps me do that. It’s functional in that while it appears small, it holds everything that I need. It’s a designer handbag that’s stylish, affordable and comes in some other great colors.

How many handbags do you own? I own 14 bags, everything from oversized totes to little clutches for more formal occasions. I think it’s important to have a decent variety of purses both in size and style.

What’s the most you ever paid for a handbag? I once spent $200 on a chocolate patchwork tote that I bought from the Coach outlet.

Image is … how others perceive a person. A person’s image has a lot to do with his attitude, personality and ways he represents himself. A person’s style is extremely important in how people perceive others.
