SHOW US YOUR ACCESSORIES

Name: Jason Marchiondo/DJ Scientific

Occupation: Deejay at The Lounge at the Palms and production assistant at the Studio at the Palms

Occasion: Halloween 2007, deejay gig at the Lounge at the Palms

What kind of accessories? iPhone, New York Yankees hat, gold necklace, keys, leather wallet and Adidas Super Star shoes.

How much did they cost? iPhone, unfortunately before the price drop paid $599; shell toes, $69; wallet, gift from my grandfather; Yankees hat, $29; wallet and necklace, gifts; and keys, hard to tell.

Where did you get them? iPhone, Yankees hat and shell toe shoes from Fashion Show mall. The necklace was a gift from my grandfather — it’s a simple gold chain. The keys are on a ring with a 45 adapter as well — just my regular keys and a key to The Studio at the Palms where I work my day job as a production assistant.

Tell us about the first handbag you ever bought. The first accessory I bought when I was younger was a Sony walkman when I was 13.

What do your accessories say about you? These accessories just say I’m simple — not trying to be blinged out! The keys say I have a lot of important doors to open.

What do you like about these accessories? I like accessories for functionality. I have always thought shell toes were the most comfortable. My grandfather recently got this wallet so it kind of has a sentimental value. The hats come and go but right now I have a New York Yankees hat

How many accessories do you own? If records can be counted as accessories I have almost 19,000, maybe more.

What’s the most you ever paid for an accessory? My iPhone was the most expensive thing that I have bought outside of acquiring music gear or rare records.

Image is …Not so sure about Image. But perception is everything!
