Chanel on the Runway: Neiman Marcus will show the fall collection from Chanel today at 10:30 a.m. in the Wynn’s Lafite Ballroom. Tickets cost $200 to purchase and benefit the Nathan Adelson Hospice. True Religion Brand Jeans, the Los Angeles-based premium denim company, features fashion-forward seams, embroidery and innovative hand-sanded vintage washes.

On the Runway: See the latest fashions from Macy’s Impulse Department today through Sunday in the Great Hall at Fashion Show mall. Runway shows take place every hour from noon to 6 p.m. At 2 p.m. on Saturday, join Macy’s for live music, light refreshments and hair consultations from Roni Josef Salon. Habitat Happening: Find out more about Habitat for Humanity during “Family Portraits” from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at Meadows Mall. “Family Portraits” is an interactive, experiential event that underscores the increasing number of families living in substandard housing in the community. The public will have the opportunity to make $1 donations to Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas at this event, in addition to learning more about the program. Those who donate can place their name on a paper “family portrait” and attach it to an 8-foot by 8-foot house.

Sunny Outlook: Solstice Sunglass Boutique, the upscale luxury sunwear specialty chain, will open its first location in Las Vegas on May 25 in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort. This new 1,049-square-foot boutique features an innovative and upscale European store design, a “hands-on” retailing approach and chic store ambience. Solstice specializes in upscale, high-end designer fashion sunglasses brands, yet also offers more moderately priced bridge collections and active sport sunwear lines. Prices start at $75 and can range up to $500 or more, depending upon the brand and style.

Get a Tan, Man: The Palms will be the future site for the famed tanning studio, Sunset Tan. Exclusive to Los Angeles and known for its celebrity clientele, Sunset Tan has provided the star treatment to Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Lopez, the Hilton sisters and Britney Spears since opening in 2003. At Palms Place, Sunset Tan owners Jeff Bozz and Devin Haman will build their sixth sun-spa within the 50,000-square-foot pool and spa enclave. The tanning salon will have eight separate treatment rooms that feature five European tanning beds, two sunless spray rooms and a custom bronzing airbrush room. Mobile airbrush machines will also be on hand for custom bronzing within the privacy of the condominium-suites.
