Sak it to Me: For Saks Fifth Avenue’s annual Key to the Cure campaign, Jennifer Hudson will serve as the ambassador. Elie Tahari created a limited edition T-shirt to benefit Key to the Cure that will retail for $35 at Saks stores.

Neimans News: Check out the Chopard trunk show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today in the precious jewels salon at Neiman Marcus. There’s also an Oday Shakar trunk show today and Friday and Penny Preville and M.C.L. by Matthew Campbell Laurenza trunk shows from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. The Laura Slatkin for NEST appearance is from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday; the Ippolita trunk show is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, the Patrick and Fabrice Tardieu of Bogosse appearance is from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and the Tom Ford made-to-measure trunk show is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Newly Wed: For the second year, BRIDES magazine is harnessing the power of wedding spending to raise money to bring happily-ever-afters to those in need. Throughout October, BRIDES WHITE HOT HOPE philanthropic program will encompass coast-to-coast activities that will benefit Operation Smile and Dress for Success. Fountain of Hope: All money tossed into the fountain at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood in October will benefit the Southern Nevada affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The fountain will display a pink color between regularly scheduled water shows.

Forever in Fashion: Forever 21 announced a capsule collection with jewelry designer Alex & Chloe for Holiday 2011 that will launch in December. The 12-piece collection for men and women was influenced by punk and goth elements and accented with geometric shapes, spikes, pears and crystals.

Think Pink: The Forum Shops at Caesars is offering its exclusive Simon Pink Ribbon Gift Card for purchase to benefit Komen for the Cure this October. For every gift card purchased, $1 is automatically donated. Additionally, shoppers who wear pink during October can get a special VIP shopping booklet with exclusive offers and discounts at the Concierge Centers.

Good Cause: Las Vegas Premium Outlets is teaming with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to support breast cancer awareness, outreach, research and treatment programs in its local community. During October, shoppers can visit the onsite information center to donate $10 and then shop at the onsite Premium Outlets Pink Event. For each donation of $10 or more, shoppers get a special savings card with deals from participating merchants. All proceeds benefit the Southern Nevada affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

It’s an Honor: SpaFinder Inc., the global spa and wellness resource, has named Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars as the recipient of multiple accolades in the 2011 SpaFinder Readers’ Choice Awards. The spa was named among the top 10 in the world for Best Casino Hotel Spa, Best Interior Design and Best Luxury, among others.

Suit Up: La Isla Uniforms, the largest uniform store in Nevada, has launched Las Vegas Tactical, a 5.11 Tactical concept store. The new store specializes in law enforcement, EMT, military and security uniform gear as well as hunting and camping gear.

Haute Home: The Roberto Cavalli Group has signed a license agreement to enter the home sector. Products will range from furniture to furnishing accessories, ceramics to wallpaper, textiles to porcelain. Collections will be shown in 2012.

Spaaah: Ravella at Lake Las Vegas is giving happy hour a makeover with its Sip & Spa Thursdays, a weekly ladies’ event from 6 to 8 p.m. every Thursday at The Spa at Ravella. Each week, The Spa will feature a fun new duo like Martinis & Manicures, Mojitos & Makeovers, and more.

Gorgeous Grin: Smiles for Survivors, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of cancer treatments’ impact on oral health, is holding its inaugural Blow Out Breast Cancer fundraising event from 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 20 at Square Colour Salon + Spa. There will be salon treatments, food, champagne, live music and a silent auction. Tickets range from $20-$70, depending on salon services.

Haute Home: Las Vegas Design Center brings back its Design Center 101 tours from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 and Nov. 5 at the Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center.
