November 9, 2007 - 10:00 pm
Every so often a trend emerges that seems too good to be true. This fall it’s the cropped jacket. We bow down to this garment, which can either be considered an accessory or piece of outerwear, for a slew of reasons.
First, hallelujah to its figure-flattering attributes. Styles that hit the hip disguise love handles and cuts just below the bustline amplify an hourglass silhouette. Second, versatility never looked this good. Cropped jackets complement distressed jeans just as well as they do pencil skirts. Last, you can find them at every pricepoint, from Target all the way up the retail ladder to the boutiques at the Forum Shops at Caesars. Take a look at a few we’ve picked out.
