Dogs on parade at Orleans Arena

The Animal Foundation will present its fifth annual Best in Show, which will include a parade of shelter dogs, at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Orleans Arena.

The event also features a silent auction and a brunch for sponsors created by master chef Gustav Mahler.

Thousands of Southern Nevadans are expected to attend as approximately 60 shelter dogs compete in front of nationally known American Kennel Club judges. The top dogs from each category will then compete for the distinction and honor of being Best in Show.

After the competition, dogs will be available for adoption.

Tickets are $12.50 general admission and $5 for children and seniors.
