3-D painting recreates world’s largest candy wall on Las Vegas Strip

Renowned 3-D street painter Melanie Stimmel Van Latum and two other artists recreated the world’s largest candy wall in a 3-D painting outside the M&M’s World store on the Las Vegas Strip last week.

M&M’s World commissioned the temporary painting to celebrate the store’s redesign and the world’s largest candy wall, which resides on the second floor of the store.

Tourists on the Strip appeared to float on top of the world’s largest candy wall when they visited the exhibit.

The painting took three days to complete and spanned the entire width of the sidewalk. It was a challenge for the artists to complete the project because of the thousands of tourists walking through their canvas.

The painting was temporary and was removed Friday evening.
