Scott Fix and his brother Ron were leaving the Santa Fe Station casino when the a speeding driver struck the driver’s side of their Ford Fusion. The crash killed Scott and hospitalized Ron with a collapsed lung, lacerated liver and broken ribs on both sides of his body. (Metropolitan Police Department)
