The Ogden offers downtown lifestyle

For residents of The Ogden in downtown Las Vegas, living in the heart of the city offers an urban lifestyle unlike any other in the valley. Without stepping foot outside, Ogden residents can have coffee and breakfast at Rachel’s Kitchen, coordinate their dry cleaning pick-up and home deliveries with round-the-clock concierge attendants, soak in some rays on the building’s rooftop deck, overlooking downtown and the Strip, and enjoy drinks and dinner at itsy bitsy: Ramen & Whisky, a music and art-infused restaurant on the Ogden’s first floor. Coming soon is a full-service hair and waxing salon Bombshell. And that’s all without leaving the building, according to Stephanie Reese, director of sales.

“Step outside The Ogden and there is no shortage of places to discover unique and interesting restaurants, bars and coffee shops; intimate entertainment destinations like Downtown Container Park; and fascinating venues like The Mob and Neon museums,” Reese said. “The area is home to a plethora of high-profile special events, including Life is Beautiful, which recently announced its fall 2016 dates. But best of all, downtown Las Vegas is populated by a variety of like-minded, yet diverse, residents who appreciate and share the area’s culturally rich urban lifestyle.”

“Buying a home at The Ogden is a package deal that delivers more than a great place to live; it comes standard with an entire lifestyle and immediate access to everything downtown offers,” said Uri Vaknin, a partner at KRE Capital LLC, whose company, in partnership with Dune Real Estate Partners, purchased The Ogden in 2013 as DK Las Vegas. ‘Not all home purchases are equal, and The Ogden, given its dynamic location, offers residents so much more than four walls and a roof.”

Situated within the heart of one the country’s most exciting cities that has undergone significant revitalization in recent years, The Ogden is proof positive of the old adage — “location is everything,” Vaknin added.

According to Vaknin, it’s impossible to understate the significance of the magnitude to which downtown Las Vegas has evolved in recent years. Downtown’s remarkable period of development, coupled with the birth of the Fremont East Entertainment District that began in 2007, ongoing evolution of the Las Vegas Arts District and an ongoing outcropping of new boutiques and eateries, has fueled an energy and vitality of the area that is hard to contain, he said.

Simultaneous with that redevelopment, The Ogden recently underwent a $2 million renovation as part of its return to condominium residences, including a reimagining of its lifestyle amenities inside the property as well. The Ogden is now home to a rooftop pool, Sky Deck, social lounge, fitness studio, pet park and even casual workspaces that provide residences with inviting and interesting places to work and conduct meetings.

Homes at The Ogden range from a one-bedroom, 815-square-foot residence from the mid-$200,000s to a three-bedroom, plus den 2,044-square-foot home for $629,000. Residences feature a modern design aesthetic in keeping with the architecture and the lifestyle vibe, private balconies and expansive views of Downtown Las Vegas, The Strip and the mountains that frame the valley.

The Oden’s single-story, open floor plans offer flex spaces that can serve as a home office, den or yoga room, extra bedrooms for accommodating multigenerational family and guests, and spacious windows that fill interiors with natural light.
