Spanish Palms provides sanctuary from bustling city

Keith Davis has been living at Spanish Palms, a gated condominium community at 5220 S. Rainbow Blvd. near Hacienda Boulevard, for nearly a decade.

But only a few weeks ago, he made the move to purchase his two-bedroom residence, his longtime sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas.

Employed with KB Contract and Keyston Bros., which supplies and develops fabrics, vinyl, leathers and textiles for some of the biggest casino properties on the Strip, Davis spends countless hours visiting hotel destinations in all corners of the valley.

“I’m constantly meeting with architects, interior designers and casino professionals to discuss ongoing projects and renovations. Nothing provides me relief and relaxation like coming home to Spanish Palms, where it’s peaceful and secure,” Davis said.

When Davis first moved to Las Vegas in 2007 for work, he found Spanish Palms through his home search. Unfortunately, the nation’s uncertain economic conditions at that time made buying out of the question for Davis, but he was so drawn to the community, he signed a lease and began his long love affair with Spanish Palms.

It was access to the Veterans Affairs financing program that sealed the deal for Davis, making it possible to buy a home with nothing down.

“The buying process was seamless, and I can’t say enough about how happy I am to further invest in my future as part of the Spanish Palms family,” he said.

At Spanish Palms, Davis especially appreciates the community’s guarded gate and proximity to freeways, the Strip and grocery stores.

He also takes full advantage of the community’s recently upgraded amenities including the oasis-inspired pools, barbecue grills, Central Park and the resident clubhouse.

“I had made many priceless memories in the clubhouse where I’ve hosted parties, including my mom’s birthday, UFC viewing events and casual, yet large gatherings for clients and friends,” Davis said.

“My friends and family from out of town visit me frequently because they know they will have a wonderful time staying with me. I’m already planning for summertime poolside parties because nothing beats the desert heat than a cool dip in the community’s resort-style pools.”

While the Spanish Palms team assisted Davis through the application and financing process, he also leaned on his mom, who has been in the real estate industry for more than 45 years, for answers and advice.

“I knew I had found the right home that met all my needs and so much more when my mother gave me the formal ‘mom seal’ of approval,” Davis said.

Spanish Palms offers three floor plans between 744 square feet and more than 1,131 square feet, and with homes starting from $131,900. Spanish Palms signature amenities include Central Park, an expanded fitness center, business center and conference room inside the clubhouse.
