Richmond American purchases more land at Cadence in Henderson

Richmond American Homes has purchased a third parcel of land at Cadence, Henderson’s newest planned community. The added parcel encompasses 23 acres and 131 additional lots for the builder.

Including this parcel, Richmond American Homes will build a total of 352 homes on 57 acres at Cadence. The homes start in the mid-$200,000s with 13 distinctive floor plans, including single-story homes, starting at 1,700 square feet. The homes’ features include maple cabinets, granite kitchen countertops, 17-by-17-inch ceramic tile flooring, paver stone driveways and deluxe master bathrooms.

“Richmond American Homes has been a respected and trusted builder throughout the country for more than 40 years, and we couldn’t be happier that they are among the first builders at Cadence,” said Cheryl Persinger, vice president of marketing of The LandWell Co., developer of Cadence.

“It is an exciting time for Richmond American Homes, especially during our growth at Cadence,” said Nicole Bloom, senior vice president for Richmond American Homes. “Our unique variety of homes complements the Cadence lifestyle, and the added acreage allows that many more families to call this community home.”

Richmond American Homes will host its official grand opening at Cadence 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Aug. 22. Further details are available at  www.cadencenv.com.

Other homebuilders with model homes open in Cadence include Woodside Homes and Ryland Homes. Lennar is building an age-qualified community, Heritage, with models opening later this year.

Cadence, when complete, will have 13,250 homes, 450 acres of open space including a 50-acre central park, a 100-acre sports park and 30 acres of trails that will interconnect with regional trails such as the Las Vegas Wash Trail and the River Mountains Loop Trail.

Additionally, Cadence features Wi-Fi availability in the public parks, a bike share program and many retail locations and office space.

Cadence is off Lake Mead Parkway, east of Boulder Highway. More information can be found at www.cadencenv.com, on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/CadenceNV) or Twitter (@CadenceNV), or call 702-558-9366.
