One Las Vegas names floor plans after geographic landmarks

One Las Vegas, a twin 20-story tower condominium community that boasts luxury residences, features 17 unique floor plans, each named for a mountain peak or geographic point of interest in Nevada.

According to Stephanie Reese, director of sales, the names were chosen as a nod to the rich geography of the valley and the state, as well as for the sweeping views offered within many of the residences, including many designs that have views from multiple angles, taking in multiple sites within the valley,” Reese said.

“One Las Vegas has long been known for its large and spacious floor plans and incredible views — so much so that our homes have often been referred to as ‘ranch houses in the sky.’ It’s the perfect descriptor that well describes One Las Vegas residences, which offer not only great views of the Las Vegas Strip, but the entire valley.”

Floor plans are named for such peaks and points of interest as Red Rock Canyon, Sunrise Mountain, Apex Hills, Valley of Fire, Lone Mountain and Rainbow Peak. The smallest residence, La Madre Mountain, is named for a Bureau of Land Management-designated wilderness area in west Clark County that sits between the city and Mount Charleston. It has one bedroom, one bath and spans 831 square feet. The largest home, White Throne Mountain, named for a mountain range in Churchill County, spans 2,857 square feet and offers three bedrooms, plus den, with 3½ baths.

“It was both fun and educational to research and name our floor plans,” Reese said. “Our residents appreciate the names of their homes that have natural ties to the area and honor our region’s unique and beautiful topography and geography.”

Located at 8255 Las Vegas Blvd. South, One Las Vegas has undergone significant reimagination in recent months with several significant aesthetic and lifestyle enhancements. According to Uri Vaknin, a partner at KRE Capital LLC, whose company, in partnership with Dune Real Estate Partners, purchased One Las Vegas in 2013 as DK Las Vegas, the upgrades will soon be complete and have already elevated the towers from a physical and lifestyle perspective.

“From stunning commissioned art throughout the lobby and common areas to a newly refreshed, state-of-the-art fitness center, a newly enhanced outdoor pool area and the planting of signature giant palm trees at the entrance and throughout the pool area, One Las Vegas feels and looks fresh, new and exciting,” Vaknin said.

Other amenity enrichments include two private treatment rooms for massages and other spa remedies, a business center with cooperative workspaces, a conference room complete with state-of-the-art AV equipment and a library and reading room.

Of the twin 20-story towers, DK Las purchased 295 of the project’s 359 residences. Homes range from 831 to 2,857 square feet with many floor plans offering views of the mountains and the Strip. One-bedroom homes are priced from the low $200,000s; two-bedroom homes from the high $200,000s; and three-bedroom homes from the low $400,000s. The penthouse, offering 3,000 square feet of sweeping views, is priced at $1.1 million.

One Las Vegas is close to I-15, the 215 Beltway and just minutes from McCarran International Airport. Town Square, just a few blocks north of the property, provides one-stop shopping and scores of dining and entertainment options right in the neighborhood.
