Mountain Falls in Pahrump offers golf-course homes

For most people buying a home in Southern Nevada, there’s usually a choice to be made, between the new homes they fall in love with and the new homes that fit into their budget. But buying a home at Mountain Falls proves that it’s possible to enjoy both choices at once. William Lyon Homes has made that a reality with two neighborhoods within the Pahrump master-planned community.

“It’s true that prices for homes in Las Vegas are rising,” said Kim Chitwood, director of marketing for William Lyon Homes. “And while that is a great indicator our economy continues to get stronger, it also means some homebuyers may have to ‘settle’ for a home that they like, but don’t really love. At William Lyon, we don’t think that’s how it should be.

“Our homes at Mountain Falls not only address the cost — with pricing that begins at only $154,000 — but the eight single-story homes we offer are smartly designed and feature our innovative William Lyon Homes style,” Chitwood said. “We’ve found those reasons alone are cause for families to fall in love with these homes; but then they discover something they never anticipated: a slower, more relaxed pace of life with plenty of space, fresh air and the sort of environment where neighbors really do become friends.”

Anchoring the master plan itself is the Mountain Falls Golf Club, featuring a challenging 18-hole, par 72 course that is among Nevada’s favorites. The recently remodeled Grill Room overlooks the golf course, which reopens on Feb. 5. Events at The Grill Room include the upcoming Big Game party Feb. 7 that will feature food, drinks and raffles. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.

Mountain Falls offers two collections of all single-story homes offered by this award-winning homebuilder.

The first are the homes of Series 1 at Villa Serena, priced from $154,000. Four single-story designs of three bedrooms, two baths and two-car garages, with an option for a fourth bedroom.

Floor plans have an open flow that efficiently utilizes the 1,514 to 2,102 square feet available, creating living and entertaining spaces of great rooms and roomy kitchens with island workstations and bar seating.

Next is Series II at Tivoli, priced from $221,000. This collection increases in scale and luxury with four larger one-story plans from 2,055 to 2,741 square feet. Available with as many as four bedrooms and three baths, Series II homes feature a more traditional design with spacious yet cozy floor plans. Standard items include granite kitchen countertops, garden tubs and Kohler fixtures, great rooms, dens and three-car garages. Optional configurations per plan include master retreat, bay window, additional bedroom and patio cover extension.

Other area amenities include the Mountain Falls Club private fitness center, lounge area and multipurpose room, plus two pools, spa and interactive water-play area. Dozens of mini-parks are placed throughout the master plan, along with miles of green, tree-lined avenues and trails.

William Lyon homeowners have a three-year warranty and service program that may include 30-day after-move-in check-up, annual visits and 24/7 emergency on-call service.

William Lyon Homes has been rated as No. 1 for homebuyers for move-in satisfaction among Nevada survey participants by Eliant.

To visit the Series I and Series II homes in Mountain Falls, take Blue Diamond Road west for approximately 45 minutes. Before reaching Pahrump, turn left on Manse Road, then right on Hafen Ranch, and left on Lakeview.

The on-site information center and model homes are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Mondays, when they open at 1 p.m. For more information, call Deborah at 775-727-0429 or 775-751-3278, or visit www.mountainfalls.com.
